Happy Christmas and a Cracking New Year!

Can anyone tell me where 2012 went??  Although I haven’t done quite as much travelling as I would have liked this year, it’s still been quite a year.

In addition to starting this blog, re-connecting with old friends and family, farewelling my Nana, having a column published in a national newspaper and helping finish a few bottles of champagne on occasion, I’ve been lucky to have had a few memorable trips this year : there was my 40th in Burgundy

I’m hoping 2013 will be the year I cross at least 5 things off my Bucket List and I’m off to a pretty good start with Japan in a few weeks!

Thank you so much to those of you who’ve come along for the ride, whether actually with me on my travels, or reading about it here – you’ve all made a difference!

Wishing you all the Happiest of Christmases and may 2013 be your best year yet!

      • Most welcome! 🙂 Fiji must be so beautiful! I flew there many times for work… But unfortunately didn’t have enough time to spend on the island. Most of the time I was on turn-arounds… Otherwise I’m sure I would have stayed for much longer to enjoy this pretty island. I heard the beaches there are stunning! I would love to photograph fiji one day 🙂

      • The outer islands are paradise and the Fijians are good fun – they love to have a laugh! I get too distracted by sublime beaches, great snorkelling and cold cocktails to do any serious photography!

    • For turning 40 it hasn’t been bad 😉 I live to travel so if I don’t have a trip in the planning I get edgy! I’m so looking forward to Japan – I haven’t been back since my first time when I was 17 so it’ll be interesting to see how much has changed – the biggest change will most likely be my perspective! Thanks so much for dropping by!
