Can anyone tell me where 2012 went?? Although I haven’t done quite as much travelling as I would have liked this year, it’s still been quite a year.
In addition to starting this blog, re-connecting with old friends and family, farewelling my Nana, having a column published in a national newspaper and helping finish a few bottles of champagne on occasion, I’ve been lucky to have had a few memorable trips this year : there was my 40th in Burgundy
A weekend at Tangalooma watching whales and generally having whale of a time,
A last minute business trip to London,
I’m hoping 2013 will be the year I cross at least 5 things off my Bucket List and I’m off to a pretty good start with Japan in a few weeks!
Thank you so much to those of you who’ve come along for the ride, whether actually with me on my travels, or reading about it here – you’ve all made a difference!
Wishing you all the Happiest of Christmases and may 2013 be your best year yet!
Olivia x
I’ve never known you to need help finishing a bottle of champagne Pet.
Looking forward to seeing what your blog brings us in the New Year.
Merry Christmas!

Most welcome! 🙂 Fiji must be so beautiful! I flew there many times for work… But unfortunately didn’t have enough time to spend on the island. Most of the time I was on turn-arounds… Otherwise I’m sure I would have stayed for much longer to enjoy this pretty island. I heard the beaches there are stunning! I would love to photograph fiji one day 🙂

The outer islands are paradise and the Fijians are good fun – they love to have a laugh! I get too distracted by sublime beaches, great snorkelling and cold cocktails to do any serious photography!

For turning 40 it hasn’t been bad 😉 I live to travel so if I don’t have a trip in the planning I get edgy! I’m so looking forward to Japan – I haven’t been back since my first time when I was 17 so it’ll be interesting to see how much has changed – the biggest change will most likely be my perspective! Thanks so much for dropping by!

Thanks Debra, you too! Yes hopefully 2013 will be quick when I’m working and then slow when I’m travelling – what, can’t have my cake and eat it too???
